This is like kids at a restaurant. 2 kids are getting the things they always get. One kid changes their mind last second. Other kids mocks them about how bad their food is gonna suck, should have gotten old faithful, etc. Turns out the new choice was great, superior in fact. Sure. But isn't this regression to the mean? If he was 25 they would want someone older. What about wanting someone that can speak in sentences or isn't an abject failure at every facet of life.
If he was 25 he wouldn't be eligible to run for office.
Something to remember:
Don't think for one minute that "not-Trump" means "not-Project 2025".
