Does the bill explicitly state "AI deepfakes", or is it all deepfakes? Where does the AI part come in (outside of some generative AIs being able to help make them)?

Haven't read the bill, but the article sounds like it's just "deepfakes".
The legislation would amend the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) to allow people to sue those who produce, distribute, or receive the deepfake pornography, if they “knew or recklessly disregarded” the fact that the victim did not consent to those images.
Republicans like, "you had us in the first half, ngl"
