It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Saw this idea in Taiwan about a decade ago, but it was a more proprietary setup. The batteries were cylinders with a handle on the end. They locked into place in the charging shelf so no cabinets were needed. Full size scooters needed 2 batteries.

Gogoro, yes it would make a lot of sense. https://youtube.com/watch?v=ZPZrjxuOddE

I want to get an e-bike. Is there a brand that is considered the best?

I'm not an expert, but I've heard that Rad bikes are good for their price, and they have been touting the safety of their batteries. (Rad is not the cheapest, but is not as expensive as the high-end bikes.)

I wanted a cargo bike to transport my kid, and I wanted a mid-drive since I'm told the motor assist on that type of drive feels more natural. So I went with a Tern.

I had a rad mission that was pretty good. They don’t sell that model anymore. Rad bikes are pretty chonky though so not really good for apartment living imo.

I picked up a lectric xpeak that comes with an extra battery. Makes for a fun ride to work, weather permitting.
