I suspected this was talking about England but I had to look it up. I've never heard of Arriva in my life.

I'd rather they buy a clock, so they can ride on time. (Their trains are actually not that bad in my area, during rush hours. In the evnings, they only ride every half hour, which sucks. Also the trains don't have wifi.)

Probably worth doing a study on why buses arrive late. I’d expect it’s mainly because of traffic. Which, ironically, is best remedied with more buses.

I would argue it is best remedied by transit signal priority (rarely wait for lights) and dedicated bus lanes where required (maybe even only needed during rush hours).
