Would be nice to not have twitter as a high score list. I killed my account and then pretty much blocked Twitter at the pihole.

This is my third time doing Rogule and to be honest I don't really get it. There doesn't seem to be much challenge, I don't know why I'd want to collect the collectables. Or even why I'd want to fight the monsters rather than beeline for the gate.
I feel the same way about Pixel Dungeon Shattered or whatever it is, all the armor and weapons are unusable, all the potions are mystery potions, scrolls usually kill you? Yet people seem to be able to play the game.
The potions and scrolls come like that, so we have to identify them first, either by trial and error or using identification scrolls or stones. It's a mechanism to add some sort of realism and a greater challenge. Armor and weapons require using strength potions to properly use them. That last one I agree that isn't well done, because we get lots of scrolls to upgrade stuff, much earlier and in greater numbers than strength potions, so the new equipment we find usually aren't better than our upgraded stock ones and we need to carry them for a long time until being able to use.
You need to find all the mushrooms to be able to use the gate. It's on the help page when pressing ? during play
That's not true. I got out with only one mushroom and have a 100% win streak

Can someone still on Twitter check what the highest streak is that people have there? My current is 44 but my highest was 143.

I've been playing for months and still don't know what mushrooms or nuts do,
The π, π° and π are just collectables. They don't have any effect except that the score screen shows how many you collected and missed.
Chestnuts aren't explained, but the help page states you have to collect all mushrooms to be able to exit.
