Because Jesus was obviously white, duh!
Do you think their worshipers would worship a Jesus with dark skin?
Of course not, but I figured they'd at least make the poors brown
The church parishioners might ask why Jesus didn't turn them white to make them blessed.

I'm kind of amazed that people so often run to religion when their child is dying of something like cancer. If I believed in a god, that would make me stop worshiping it and I would consider it evil.
That would be one of my first complaints, if I die and God does exist I would like to give them a list of bugs to fix next time around. Just make cancer not start growing until, ya know, after childhood. There is a timer on puberty, so why not make one for cancer and extend it till adulthood or 25 or something?
If I get sent to Hell or whatever, then okay. Whatever, but holy shit God. You are fucking up.
