If the "western world" only has two options- what does that say about all the various countries held under (illegal) unilateral sanctions and blockades by the US? For that matter, why shouldn't the Arab nations exercise their sovereign right to their own waters, when the shipping involved is accessory to genocide of their own ethnic kin no less? Which nations are the ones unilaterally backing a genocide which has seen the destruction of 2%- nearing or past 3% even, of the civilian population of Gaza so far? Which nations are illegally stationed in Syria, and in Iraq (where the government has repeatedly stated their presence is not welcome, and the only reason western troops are there to begin with is due to a brutal invasion and occupation)? Which "defensive treaty organization" has made it their business, to destroy popular secular Arab governments, from Iraq, to Libya, and now to Syria?
