couple of questions...

  • is this any good? im skeptical of the comedy.

  • is it really british? its on like season 13... i thought that was antithetical to british common sense unless youre the doctor...

British, definitely. (It takes place on a British-controlled French island in the Bahamas I think?)

As the name implies it's kind of Agatha Christie murder-mystery on an island.

Its fun, if you like that sort of thing. Well-paced, not too much melodrama, usually.

It's okay. It's a very predictable but comfort food style mystery series. Plus the scenery and extras provide a pleasant vibe throughout

It's definitely my go to when I don't want to watch anything heavy, but I don't want to watch complete garbage either. The characters definitely make the show for me, as well as the unique location

ok, ive watched most of the first season. it is as you describe.. a charming little character-driven who-done-it. im really enjoying it

kinda fits that monk/murdershewrote sweet tooth
