I think they'll be ok, they had thrown a few pistils but I don't see them now. But I was already worried about height and now I especially am.

Are you getting any pests when growing outside?

Dude y'all inspire me with posts like this. One day I'll get my space bucket and greenhouse up. One day.

I believe in you! Do you live in a terrible place that will still imprison you over it?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago

No, just neither my wife nor landlord will allot me the space.

You’ll likely have more bud sites than you can manage. Can always just top those super elongated branches to top them, or cut them at the trunk to be done.

I thought about that, but decided "fuck it I'm just gonna let it ride"

Best way to learn is to fuck it up yourself.

My concern would be them growing into each other while trying to keep the height down, but only one way to find out as well. Enjoy, I’m just getting my garden starts to the window today, tents getting full haha.

Some gentle training'll go a long way, even at this late stage. Fan those girls out, let 'em soak it up.

Yeah I'm going to hang some weights, I think. I figured cannabis plants being too big is a good problem to have 😂 my season doesn't officially start until today, so these won't get harvested for like 6 months. I think I could do pretty much whatever to these and they would recover in time.

I hear ya there, though I've seen my fair share of "too big" that snapped their trunks. A +16ft Strawberry Cough, for one. Incredible colas and Bs as big as your hand. Granted, that was outdoor, back when it was lucrative to travel for the season, but still. Watch your girls, and be sure to keep them prioritized. If you've got a friend with a printer, ask them to knock out some clips. 🤘🏽

I actually have a fuck load of clips but I'm nervous that, because the plants are so... robust? That I won't be able to bend some of the older branches.

Start out gently and arc ~5% or so (rather than the >15 <90 for young stems), or just Velcro tie them off to distant points on the greenhouse walls. You're right, though: gotta be nice and tender to the thicc stalks

Awesome sounds like I've got a roadmap at least, I figured I was stuck! Thank you for your advice

Hell yeah! Happy to assist, and I'm excited for your greenhouse to fill up with beautiful green for daaays. 🤘🏽🥳

Dude I heard that these plants can yield upward of two pounds each! That's so much weed lmfao I won't be able to smoke it all 😂 I'm so excited

For real, though! 🤣 And, don't forget that the sugar leaves & trim are perfect for RSO, etc., too! Every year, I grow the max allowed legally in my location, and I literally give away whole branches when friends visit for boardgames, bbq, or just to borrow something. I'm still working my way through the cured batch from 3 years ago... 🤪

What a time to be alive! 🤌🏽🔥🥳
