The Russian Revolution was a coalition of leftist parties, and the Bolsheviks were a relatively small groups all things considered. In the fight against capitalism the distinction between demsocs, revisionists, and other such parties are minimal.

That is something to be sorted out after the Revolution.

Why not lend support to any and all communist projects going, on a national level?

Sure, they might be guilty of revisionism, but wouldnt we rather have a revisionist communist party than Biden?

Its priorities, dont dillute your thinking; focus on expansion. Socialist projects die when they get into semantics and rejectionism.

they are the only real leftist options in the usa and contrary to the impression u might get from looking at their federal level organization and people, theres a lot of based people at the bottom and some local chapters are straight up just good.

I am pretty sure that PSL and FRSO are far better than CPUSA

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago

i think psl is about as good as dsa and both a little better than cpusa, frso is just too small.

Because that's the best you get in the US

He's still holding on to hope that the west isn't just absolutely cooked. How else could someone make a channel trying to speak reason to a populace so far gone that they think socialism is when you retweet horse porn man and call everyone left of you a tankie?

i seem to remember him saying that its because they actually exist near him, so it's better than posting all day and just filming agitprop edgeworth-shrug

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Do you remember where he said that?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Not really, but it was probably in some deprogram episode

edit: now that i think about it i think it was on the revolutionary left radio https://revolutionaryleftradio.libsyn.com/convincing-conservatives-red-states-climate-change-class-struggle

I think it’s because the CPUSA is the original and only “legitimate” party. I’m guessing he’s trying to take over the party leadership, I dunno. Either way, these are places for organization, I think we all understand that here.

We aren’t voting ourselves into revolution.

I'm not american and neither do I know much about these parties at all, but my guess would have been, that while they may not be perfect, they're still the best options for communist parties? I may be mistaken, since I know so little. Like, would the PSL be a better alternative? If they are, maybe they're not active in his part of the US? Maybe CPUSA is the most accessible?

These are all speculations tho. I'm looking forward to other more educated insights xD.
