The classic red Cardinal, male or female. They sometimes hang out in my yard and their song is so great.

Lately, a tufted titmouse.

They've got such cute little mohawks.

Flamingos. I like large things that look silly.

I like the wood pigeon. It has a nice voice that sounds really chill. I associate it with waking up on camping trips. I also like the way they look. Unlike feral pigeons, they are more shy and don't go near humans that much, but one time while I was collecting some trash in the park one followed me and came 15 cm close to me.

Pigeons are genetically superior to all other birds

Have you seen their nests..

Yes, efficient engineering marvels that can be constructed literally anywhere. They also have a built-in shit guidance system so it lands directly on your head or food.

I like catbirds because their call is so damn ridiculous I can't help but smile every time I hear it

I just like birds in general. I’ve interacted with a lot of unique birds over my life, and they’re all smart as fuck. Even my dumbass rooster.

Redwinged Blackbird

Move in groups. Kick ass coloration, inky black everywhere except a patch on the "shoulder" of their wings thats something like red/yellow.

The Eurasian nuthatch is my favorite because it often walks down tree trunks, upside down while facing the ground.

And I have to give an honorable mention to Bulwer's pheasants for obvious reasons.

POV: You are about to be tackled and devoured by a nuthatch.

Nuthatches are so quirky, always hopping around on walls and hanging upside down.

Shoebill storks are awesome. I like how big they are and the awesome sounds they make. I enjoy their mysterious and sometimes ominous appearance and behaviors. Sometimes they seem really friendly and silly too!

I don't know much about birds, but there are magpies here that like to explore my backyard often and I find them really beautiful and majestic. I guess they are my favourite right now.
