Turkeys are banned from Tripadvisor
Its the simple things in life
aren't those turkeys being taken to be murdered?
Yeah I don’t know what this turkey van is all about. Maybe they won the Publishers Clearing House.
Meanwhile the militant murder turkeys (Canadian Geese) I quack at when I go by at work don't seem to be amused.
Aww pepe looks hella cute
One time long ago I stayed up all night tripping lsd on a ranch and at dawn befriended turkeys who flew down out of the trees to eat grasshoppers etc. Damn near thought we were for real communicating
They .. flew?
Less of a graceful defiance of gravity, more like doing pull-ups without a bar. Like they figured out how to double-jump and it takes some work.
The "flightless" livestock birds like Turkeys, peacocks and chickens can still produce enough lift to roost in a tree and get back down.
It's pretty trippy when you see a tree full of chickens and you bring the corn out.
Yea well they spread their wings and glide down and flap a lil bit right at the end. First time I ever saw that. These ones weren’t super big and fat like your typical picture of a huge Turkey though. They slept up in the tree to be safe from predators like coyotes and rattlesnakes.
Reminds me of this video where the guy gobbles at a turkey farm and can't keep it together: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9zvgcOrTtw
That was exactly my first thought! The guy's laugh is so infectious
