That’s just insane. Build a game as a live service, end the service after 7 seasons.

I’d love to believe lessons were learned, but I doubt it.
How long is a season ? Like a sport season, so 10 months, or like a trimester ?
I'm gonna huff some copium, but I hope it's because they realize they would have to overhaul 2042 to resemble and feel like the battlefield people remember, and love. 2042 is definitely worth playing in this final state, but it still feels like a hallow shell compared to 3 & 4.

"Let's make a minimum viable product (if we are lucky) and sell it for $190. It might have features our users don't use(we are guessing) and if there is enough demand we might build onto this and add more in the future...
