Yes, with the right density of clouds
Thin clouds actually make it nice in a way, when you can see it through the clouds without burning your eyes. I remember in 2015 this happened. My parents refused to buy me eclipse glasses because they thought it was a waste.
That's actually a really cool picture. Better than the boring ones I keep seeing of just the sun alone.
That looks better than my view, unfortunately. Total cloud cover rolled in 10 minutes before totality.
