I got one 4TB Western Digital with it and bought another 6TB. What did you regret?
I bought the WD MyCloud and I wish I just bought a real NAS, it's flaky and I have to reboot it each time I do a backup.
I have one of those stuffed in with three others lol

I don't use synology devices but I'd recommend a little breathing room.
Seriously: front and back are open and inside there is room between the hard disk and the case. The disks are around 25 degrees C.
Is the logo on the side perforated for airflow in this model?
No. It is a 720+ with solid sides.
