What was that subreddit where the picture of the person being quoted, the quote itself, and who the quote was attributed to, were all three different people. There was one at some point, wasn't there? Or was it just part of some fever dream, lol. We totally need a Lemmy community like that.

I can assure you that he never said this. Das Kapital was published posthumously and Engels did alot of editing, including statements like this
