That's what I was referring to, but yeah, maybe it was just that they couldn't carry on with the same storyline.
I think it means the same thing sprinkled with some poor communication. In the article they're adding that you can't make a 4th game if it was supposed to be a trilogy.
Which means in the context of the story the "4th" game is a new game in the same universe.
I get what you mean tho. Maybe it shluldn't be called Witcher 4 anymore. However from business perspective it would makes sense to use a well-established brand name.
I think they only said Geralt's story is over.
Awesome! Not bashing the game but the cyberpunk genre just doesn’t appeal to me. Really looking forward to this. I’m hoping they go with a different Witcher though.
