I noticed there wasn't a TST Lemmy community. The Satanic Temple is a modern satanic religion that aims to promote human rights and compassion. Check out their about page on their official website at https://thesatanictemple.com/pages/about-us. Note that this community is not an official affiliation. TST is also separate and not affiliated with the Church of Satan, who have a slightly different viewpoint of what satanism truly is. Dunno what to post in here, but maybe some will search for this and take part. Hello!

When will they learn. The Satanic Temple literally exists to sue organizations into compliance, yet they still come up with bullshit like these "extra fees".
I love how freaking classy they are about these lawsuits too. It's really just "knock it the fuck off guys." They are asking for a whole $1 in damages:
We are also seeking a declaratory judgment that the Shelby County Board of Education’s actions violate the First Amendment's free speech and free exercise clauses, nominal damages of $1, and a permanent injunction against the district's discriminatory practices.
Always fun when the temple gets to hit people with "find out" phase of "fucking around".
