While it's pretty cool to have a generational talent, it's making the winner almost preordained. I was sort of hoping the Marko issue would get him to leave for Merc so we'd have more balance by not having him in a Newey designed car anymore.

Albon proving the swap was the right.

RIP Hamilton. He's already thinking about next year.

Sainz is on the warpath. I'm loving it.

Absolutely.... If Carlos keeps this up, I'm betting he'll replace Perez at RB

I do think Sainz deserves a seat in a top team... Even a Russell Sainz combo would be so much fun to watch with Merc

So much hope for that...might make next season super fun assuming he performs as well in rb as in ferarri...next year might be super fun to watch even if rb keeps dominating. Seeing how lewis does in a Ferrari will be fun...and how he manages fights with lacrec, hopefully sainz to rb and he brings a good fight to front. See if merc finally figures things out or keep trying for next upgradeTM.

Whew. I stayed up in the US, and all I got was a business as usual.

Good showing from albon, tsunoda, and Carlos for sure

Ferrari can make it real difficult for Perez,if he doesn't find pace here.

Anyone knows, what happened to Albon?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

He might be playing it a bit safe, coz of the huge responsibility to bring in points this weekend especially after Logan's sacrifice.

Ferrari got pace.

They just showed an onboard replay on F1TV of HUL being impeded by PER in the penultimate corner. Should be a grid penalty for PER.

No one telling Daniel to back off and try again is pretty sad, not sure if it would have mattered though.

I mean you could see on the broadcast,he went completely wide.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

I think it was around 3 minutes and something left when he went wide. Considering how fast he was in that lap he might not have had enough fuel for that.

Not sure what Gasly was trying by crossing the pit line at the end.
