Leftover quiche and fruit. At lunchtime I made the mistake of heating up brioche HCBs (Aldi) in the microwave - they went all soggy. Better to toast them imo, but this is not the weather for toasting.

I'm going to Adelaide in 9 days! There's some sort of out of home care advocacy conference thing happening there over 3 days and I was offered some last minute tickets. I'm mostly there to just watch, but I do need to be the dude who introduces people, although they offer that to all of us that are going, so I'm only introducing a couple of people over the span of a few minutes on one day. Not sure if I should ad lib it or not, but I have names to remember.
I also get free time after the conference finishes, so you bet I'm going on as many Adelaide trains as I can fit in. Last time I was in Adelaide it was rather, err, unsanctioned (I ran away) so I had bigger problems to deal with
I'll have to find my metro card thingy (their version of a Myki). I never thought I'd be going back so I'm pretty sure I actually stuck it in a memory book type thing. Trouble is I don't know where I put that
Bite the bullet, and get a new one. Not worth the stress of hunting down the old one. My last visit to Adelaide was a long time ago, but I was impressed with the bus system.
I do not understand people who cut jeans into shorts so short they are mostly loose flapping pockets. Just looks weird.
They're just showing off that they actually have pockets, unlike the evil bait-and-switch jeans I bought which have a curved seam that mimics where a pocket should go but fails to actually be a pocket.
Has anyone bought a house using a buying agent? i like the idea, but a lot of them seem to be very expensive & aimed at high end property and very expensive, I'm looking for someone who is affordable and a flat fee not commission based. Any feedback or recommendations?
I used one - Select Property Advisers. Worth every cent in freedom from hassle. Flat fees - keep dreaming. They all charge commission.
Do you mean this one https://selectpropertyadvocates.com.au/buying/ ? It says on their page they charge a flat fee. I was also looking at https://www.propertyhomebase.com.au/ which charge flat fees.
Warned the Mrs if she opens one more blind sheβs going outside to play for a while. Glad she doesnβt feel the heat but the rest of us do.
