Alt: I don't know a single wealthy person who has full sugar soft drinks.

As we all know, there are no unhealthy wealthy people in the world.

...did this person screenshot his own tweet and post it to LinkedIn with the same tweet copy pasted into the post body?

I'm confused about the order of events here. Does drinking Coke make you pull or does being poor make you drink Coke?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 8 months ago (1 children)

I think it's more the smart mindset that makes you rich also makes you avoid coke

[–] [email protected] 0 points 8 months ago

However, they don't avoid coke.

They only drink full sugar hard drinks. Like WKD Blue and a whiskey with with a tablespoon of Golden Syrup in it.

Come to Utah, speed running diabetes is a state sport for the rich and poor alike. There's a drive thru for soft drinks on nearly every corner, and each has a line of cars spilling out into the road blocking traffic (to be fair, the traffic wanted to go to the drive thru too).

This is the most Utah article ever, the only thing that would make it "more" Utah is if it was two lifted Ford F-150s and the only thing stopping them from shooting each other is that they're both holding soft drinks.

Here's a typical Swig:

Wait, do they make food related stuff or is it all just soft drinks? Like a café but for sugary drinks.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 8 months ago

Some have cookies (premade), some just have soft drinks. Most are drive-thru only. No "actual" food though, so you wouldn't go there for a meal, just a treat.

The main draw is that you can get mixins to the soft drinks. Basically they do what coffee shops do to coffee, but to soft drinks.

So the 500 lb. trailer park resident in the motor-scooter at Walmart sucking down 64 oz. Diet Cokes is about to hit the jackpot? Color me impressed.

Ah yes, the usual song of "you're poor because you do X".

You're poor because you don't eat well. You're poor because you watch TV. You're poor because you don't wake up at 5am and take cold showers.

Social media’s obsession with the habits of the rich is disgusting. Rich are rich because their parents were rich. It’s like they can’t grasp that simple concept. They literally think that rich must be rich because of some arbitrary habit of theirs.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 8 months ago

It's like the same reason they're rich is the same reason I need to take cholesterol meds early -- not because of anything I did but because of my parents.

Woot! Not to blame if it's all rigged!

"you're poor because you do X".

Lol, I accidentally read this as "You're poor because you're on X"
