So I've played the original, but my partner hasn't and I want to know if she can expect a good game, too. So far all the reviews I've seen have been from people nostalgic of the original like me. A lot even have spoilers. Does anyone know if there any good reviews from the perspective of someone who's played Remake, but not the original 1997 game, and has managed to avoid spoilers from that game this whole time? (She obviously isn't much of a gamer lol)

Or if there any people here who fit that description and want to give their opinion, I'd appreciate that, too.

(Although Rebirth is pretty new, so I can't expect there are very many non professionals who have beat it yet.)

I played the original and it still feels like a completely different game. I think even a new player will find fun in it.

I love the original FFVII.

Would you recommend the rebirth for someone that loves the turn based battles as opposed to "hack and slash"?
