Another example of why arbitration agreements need to be illegal

I live in Lake Orion and don't see this kind of hatred, however I don't surround myself with these kind of people either. Is this rampant out here?

I'd guess you'd be able to find a place or more like this in any bigish city

Bro, you live there.

Sounds like you either actively avoid those types of people or your friends would have seen some shit by now.

You're pretty much the authority on if it's a racist place!

I just said I don't see it. From what I've seen and the people I associate with, it's not a klan meeting sort of town. If these assholes are out here, they keep it to themselves like the pussies they are. So if I'm the authority on whether or not it's a racist place, I would say that on a spectrum of Shelby Twp being a 1 to Ferndale being a 10, it's a 7.5. Maybe? I don't know.

Tbf, racism at the level described in the article can be kept very insular. It doesn't have to be the whole town, but a culture can be created in specific social/professional circles where people are comfortable being bigoted, and they can all be really good at hiding it anywhere else. Just about every police station in the US runs the same way.

Founders Detroit had similar allegations. There's lots of racist places everywhere.
