Yep, I live in Canada and wanted to escape winter for a few days, so I booked a short trip in the Carribean. It only took a few seconds of walking under the sun to begin sweating and thinking "I know I came here for the heat but damn, it's so hot!"

I can't even get comfortable in my own house. My legs are sweating and my feet are ice blocks.

50 degrees in September? Fur hat, gloves, scarf, and the heavy boots.

50 degrees in March? Let's go to the beach!

It’s thanks to brown fat, which your body burns to keep you warm. You make more of it with cold exposure. So you have more of it after the winter than after the summer.

50 degrees in the UK? Boil to death in temperatures higher than the human body, higher even than in Death Valley.
