There have been stories of that going around but they seem incredibly untrustworthy. Like, getting foreign troops to help out is not that weird. Ukraine does it too. But to pick random Indian guys off the streets in India, promising them work in Russia only to send them to the front, untrained, is just bonkers.
Gotta deflect from the stories of Ukrainians getting bagged in the streets and pressed into the front lines, I guess
