Your theological error is: assuming "america" means "the whole world".
It does not.
The whole world is not "filled with wonder" at Fart, and we do not "follow" that orange moron.
"The whole world" back then was a very small portion of the globe. My two cents. And Americans do think like "we're the whole world".

"The whole world" in the bible is the middle east and the area around the Mediterranean, so who cares?
