Why is one person consistently posting here, suddenly, over the ~~last month~~ when this community had less than 3 posts previous to this month?

[email protected] has been active for two years, even though it's been dormant in the off season.

Why would you rather split this struggling community into two rather than build something together?

Not into LoL but are you actually shitting on someone for using the abilities of the fediverse? It's their time and effort, they are free to spend it how they like.

This post is big mad.

I'm annoyed at someone for aggressively splitting one slightly active community into two.

I'm annoyed at someone for choosing to compete instead of cooperate. I'd much rather get along.

I've closed LW communities in the past on Blaze's request. That's why he keeps saying "regarding league".

Indeed. Other LW admins have as well. If you prefer me to reach out to them rather than you in the future, , I can definitely do that.

I don't even get what you are trying to achieve here. In the case of [email protected] and [email protected], both communities were getting regular content everyday, so consolidating activity made sense.

Which activity are you suggesting to consolidate when your other community hasn't had a post in 10 days?

This isn't Reddit, communities are owned by active posters. To quote someone commenting on the recent [email protected] power tripping, members are not cattle that admins and mods can just move as they please.

Lemm.ee is a well managed instance, handled by a serious team, what is exactly your problem with it?

That'd make you dense, and I don't believe that. I've been clear enough. You should be helping me build the existing community instead of creating one from nothing.

existing community

No posts in the last 10 days

Are we talking about the same thing?

You were saying that my community doesn't have anyone besides me (it's false, as I showed below, 4 different posters). Yours has half of that, 2 posts by someone else in the last month.

So by which metric should your community prevail on this one?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

When you made your first post here a month ago the metrics were very different. There were fewer than three posts here ALL TIME.

You're obviously aware of this. All this discussion does is prove that you're speaking in bad faith. That's why you couch everything you say. "Regarding league", "in the past month".

You're arguing with one of the most active curators and evangelists for healthy community growth around. I'd probably reconsider if your frustration is well spent.

What little I've heard about LoL aligns with the behavior demonstrated in this post unfortunately

Hey,

Thank you for jumping in, appreciated
