It replaces a spider with the text "SPIDER" and when you kill it the text turns upside down.

i hear the meow meow meow sounda in my sleep

the blurry 2d cat pictures are somehow worse than the spiders

For the King 2 has an interesting take on it as well...their arachnophobia mode just removes the legs from the spiders, so it's just low poly hairy spider bodies floating in space.
