First world problem #475358: seems not all microfibre cloths are created equal. I bought some new ones but they are hydrophobic and not very good at picking up dirt. Annoying. Lesson learnt, Iโ€™ll be having a feel of them in the shops before buying new ones to see if I can find ones with similar texture to my older set.

I find the ones sold for cleaning motor vehicles and the like are pretty tough and stand a lot of wear. Bigger too. Bunnings have packets of 10 or so fairly cheaply. I avoid the ones marketed for 'kitchen' use.

100% they are definitely not all equal. Very frustrating.
