this reeks of american frat bros slumming it in mexico on a weekend bender chanting USA! USA! USA! at the top of their lungs in public.

i think that it's a manifestation of the ruling class' privilege to do things like this outside their imperial core, secure in the knowledge that they would never face the same kind of recrimination that would cause problems for someone like me despite also being an american.
