I guess I need to rewatch the last 3 movies. I've only seen them one each and do not remember this at all
This is fanfiction, George never sees the mirror. Apparently in the last film it was a background prop in the Room of Requirement, which suggests it gets destroyed in that fire, but unless there was some post-release Pottermore shit it doesn't show up after the first book.
It was in the book. Not the movie.
