So by giving that 200 check to the NPD. I'd be forcing the Ford government to also give money to the NPD?
Effectively yes.
They give you $200. You give the NDP $200. You get $150 back at tax time.
Now you have $150, the NDP has $200, so you've effectively had Ford give the NDP $150.
This should be a campaign. Imagine if even 5% of people gave their $200 to the NDP. It would be so funny if this election bribe gave the NDP enough money to win
