He lays out the financial reasons why you'd save money without a car, but it does assume you can afford to rent or get a loan for house/apartment in a city in the first place. Are you suggesting that is an unreasonable demographic to target with this advice? Because that sort've implies that any cost-saving measure advice should only be for those in the most dire financial straights, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Homelessness is a horrible and cruel epidemic, but if anything, the advice in the video could be seen as helpful to avoid becoming homeless, or at least to ease the overall financial burden on people who are already on the edge, not for the wealthy, but that's just my take.
