Starfield has been a baffling thing to watch internet discourse over.
I feel like the game met every expectation I had for it and is quite entertaining yet every YouTuber has to make a ten hour essay about how Starfield is ruining games forever.
Finally I’ve found it. The average gamer that rewards shitty game devs for pushing slop after slop onto consumers.
holy shit i finally found the guy who determines what games you can like and what games you cant!
please please tell me, is backyard baseball 97 a game im allowed to like? how about marvel's midnight suns? cyberpunk 2077? can i like bioshock infinite? can i like deep rock galactic? thanks in advance!
Same with Star Wars Outlaws, maybe hating the game gets them more clicks. And then a year from now they can make videos talking about how Outlaws is great now and was underappreciated on launch.
$30 for such a half-assed DLC is a pretty big ask though, Skyrim had Dragonborn which was much bigger and cheaper as well.
I feel the same way.
I wonder if some of it might be due to the Microsoft acquisition.
