Sometimes there's food in my sink. Sometimes I'll do the right thing and put it in the bin. At other times I'm lazy as fuck and jam it down the plug hole.

Just buy a strainer that goes over the sink hole. It's going to save you money in the long run.

It's not usually heaps of food. Like it might be say one thin piece of carrot. Done it for a long time and I've never had to use draino etc.
