No, the worst border catastrophe in American history was Operation W**back. (I apologize that the operation had such an incredibly offensive name)

Ah okay, I've looked that up, That's insane.
For anyone wondering, the term did not originate with that deportation operation but looks like it came from a New York times article in 1920.
That, to me, aside from the massive number of deaths, is one of the craziest parts. "Let's racially profile a disadvantaged group and throw them out like garbage into barren dessert. To add insult to injury, let's name the whole plan after a well-known slur and feign ignorance."
