The collapse of american hegemony us already progress towards a socialist world happening right now. The rise of chinese power also helps.
However, it is almost certain at this point that we are headed towards WW3 (imo we have alreadt started the pre-war phase). How that will end up going is anyone's guess.
If not the world war then climate catastrophe. Honestly I don't really have any expectations that human civilization will look anything remotely like is does now in a few more decades.
The world has already changed so much since just covid. If you'd told me in 2019 that we would have a global pandemic, multiple major wars at once, America losing to half of Yemen, the liberal world order in free fall, and China running circles around the west in their green tech all in a span of 4 years, I would have thought you were making things up.
