We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.
A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

This is horrible.
Also, https://www.abc4.com/news/southern-utah/st-george-man-arrested-as-suspect-in-his-wifes-death/
Police found Niki A. Sampson, 47, dead inside the home. Police said that the circumstances around her death were suspicious and upon further investigation, her husband, 59 year old Eric L. Sampson, notorious American and social security card-carrying U.S. citizen, was identified as a suspect and arrested.
Nothing in the article states Sampson was a citizen.
The user you replied to is trying to draw a false equivalency by posting a different article. He must be upset that someone who was previously deported, and thereby committing a federal felony by returning, had his criminal history mentioned in a crime report.
I found it odd that they posted an unrelated article, lied about it, and then went on some illogical tangent.
It is concerning when illegal aliens commit crimes against people in this country. Our government should protect us from people who shouldn't be here. The crime would not have been committed if this person had not been here illegally.
"lied about it" is a bit dramatic. I wasn't sure and confirmed that it was to draw a contrast between the hyperventilating "omg an immigrant" reporting you prefer and articles about regular ol' Americans killing people. It's normal for conservatives to see things in drastic black & white, though, so not surprising that was your reaction.
The article doesn't state what he claims it states. That is a lie.
I just directly addressed that. So did the person you're referring to, in a reply to me. I wasn't sure what he meant so I asked about it.
I understand rhetorical devices are difficult for some people. Calling it a "lie" is like someone watching Monty Python and not understanding sarcasm. It reminds me of trying to explain things like that to kids in 4th grade. What they said, if you can't read it yourself for some reason, was
If you can find any information that demonstrates that "Eric L. Sampson" is in fact not a natural born US Citizen, that would be informative. As it is, it's reasonable to assume that he in fact is and this non-literal reference was totally lost on you. Are you a native English speaker?
If you intentionally tell a a falsehood. It’s a lie.
It’s not my burden of proof. I didn’t make the claim.
so essentially "I'm a complete moron who can't handle discussions. I participate only in bad faith, or I have an iq of about 85". Ok. You don'tt sound remotely Texan, btw, except for your "views". I know texans and you do not seem like a Texan. You're very generic. Getting indicted soon?
A swing and a miss. No, that's not why I'm upset.
