I fuckin' love bardcore, and Hildy is the godsdamned QUEEN!

A haunting medieval style cover of NIN's classic, Hildegard's version seems to tell the tale of a regretful immortal crushed under the weight of outliving everyone they connect with.

And a question for the comments, any interest in a possible c/bardcore community? Or is there one my search missed?

Oh buddy, you're in for a treat if you like this and you're just getting started. Everything on Hildegard's channel is pretty fantastic.

There's also a sub-category where they actually sing in old languages, like this cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit in classical latin.
