The Bard's College always felt severely lacking in anything worthwhile to do. The questline barely involved anything to do with music, it was super short and uneventful, and all-around didn't feel like it had a place in the game. Especially considering that many players choose Solitude as their main city to live in, it's even more sad that the Bard's College as is is pretty useless.
