Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

What argument? I'm just saying that it works for me and many others.
Most commutes aren't 40 miles even for suburbanites. Some people get worked up for suggesting that biking is viable for a lot of us for no reason, talking about edge cases, that often could be covered by public transport.

No, because when it's over 40 he either uses a bus, train, plane, or someone else's car. He never said he bikes 40mi, he says "sometimes he travels 40mi."
Seems the commenter you replied to either thinks he means bikes, or was making a joke about the obvious missing information on the method of over 40mi travel.
