Have a look at the project page. The lead developer hasn’t made a commit for months. The last few commits are just translation strings.
That's because it has reached perfection already
Using it right now and I can absolutely say you're wrong. Still waiting on a fix for that whole "wrong image in the thumbnail" situation for starters.
It's funny how it seems some people took my message so seriously, but I appreciate your answer nonetheless :)
Odd statement to make on a bug report
You mean a feature report?
It does not have scaled sorting, along with any of the other new Lemmy features.
I love Eternity, but I'm exploring other options.
Just tried out voyager, it feels a bit toyish and definitely iOS-first so feels weird on android. Thunder hasn't had a release for 2 months
Try Thunder Nightly. The pre-release versions come out frequently, about every couple of weeks. You can find them here: https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder/releases/tag/0.4.0-5
That's because it's an automated system. There were no code changes in months and therefore no change in the nightlys....
I don't think I’m looking in the same location you are. here I’m not a coding pro by any means but I'm seeing the list of commits through 5/26/2024 that have been included in the nightly versions. Although the releases (nightly) may be automated, they do seem to include feature and functionality updates, as well as bug fixes. I hope the dev continues this trend.
You are absolutely correct. I thought it was about eternity nightlys. They also exist and get build automatically but are actually unchanging.
I am pretty sure the nightly builds have scaled sorting implemented. But yes, I also switched to Voyager and am happy about that
