As you may know, Central Texas Soaps is out of the shaving game. I bought them a while back because they accepted cryptocurrency and I had several hundred dollars of "profit" to blow "at the time".

It's solid soap and it was cheaper than Stirling I think. Vegan, though. A bit on the voluminous side, but still creamy. On their website they advertised it as a "thirsty" soap which I appreciate hearing from an artisan.

The scent is pretty basic and nothing to write home about. I have "Down at the River" from them also, and it's a nice fresh scent.

The scent sounded interesting; a cherry pipe tobacco fragrance. Elysian Soap Shop has a scent called Cherie Tobacco that has cherries and tobacco on the label. [ However, chérie means "dear" as applied to a woman as in ma chérie ].
