atp i don't even know if i've been masking so long I don't know what it's like with it off or if i haven't even bothered masking at all.

Same. I'm ADHD (and I've had professionals recommend I get tested for autism), and tbh, I have no idea if I'm "real" or "fake" anymore; and if I'm "fake", how much of me is "fake".

My therapist asked me to try not masking during sessions, I said it would be hard because I either wouldn't want to say anything or I would just talk about random stuff I like and nothing else

That's assuming I even can still do it. I dont think I can talk to anyone without masking anymore, too many bad experiences
