I never buy eggs. I don't eat them. However I have a recipe I'd like to try, that requires an egg.

In the supermarket, small shops, and even the small farm shop I looked in, they come in minimum packs of six. If I buy six, five will be wasted into the bin.

Surely there's somewhere that will sell me a single egg? I'd have thought the farm shop would but nope.

Or if not, is there something I can do with the other five other than eat them?

Not so much of a shop but often on country lanes you see eggs for sale outside people's houses with a money pot for donations. Hens lay a lot of eggs and the owners need to get rid of them easily.

I think I have seen these come to think of it. Nice idea! I'll keep an eye out. I've never used one but if they're just loose and I can buy just one then these will be perfect. Thanks :D
