I've never heard of Europeanconservative.com so I usually look these things up on mediabiasfactcheck

https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/?s=European+conservative+

Neither have they

What are their sources? Sadly it's all too common that different outlets write the same thing because they all use the same source without checking it themselves.

True, I didn't find any major publications confirming it. All the articles that do were published on the same day.
I just wanted to provide additional info, which curiously seems to have been disliked by people?

I don't get what you're saying, that doesn't look like this source is not credible.

The source is full of red flags all over, and it's not reputable at all. Having a fancy header is not the same as "looking credible".

They cite two sources. One is behind a paywall in Swedish, the other is a politician they choose to label as conservative, but who is actually member of the Swedish extreme right (Sverigedemokraterna), not the conservative party (Moderaterna).

I was looking at the link provided, as this person provided that as evidence. On that site there is not really anything leading me to believe everything from them is bs.

The link shows that mediabiasfactcheck has never heard of them, they're not listed at all.

Perhaps, just maybe, that's why there's nothing leading you to believe that ๐Ÿ˜‚

Citing a paywalled source isn't really non-credible. DN is absolutely a credible source. But for anyone that's doesn't have a DN sub, read the SVT article like someone else suggested. The Euronews article is probably good too.

But personally I would probably dismiss any newspaper with such a stupid name.

Here is the DN article for anyone that's interested (copy pasted using Firefox reader, so pardon my formatting): https://paste.ee/p/4MIBi

Here is part two that was published the next day: https://paste.ee/p/mBhgt

Yeah, it's not that DN is not reputable, it's just that I couldn't actually check that they made the same claims as Conservative European. When I checked SVT it said something different, which didn't increase my confidence either.

These sources are generally trustworthy for information but may require further investigation.

Exactly. So just disregarding it is a little quick.

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 months ago (1 children)

That definitely suggests this source is not credible, but you read what you want to read, old bean

[โ€“] [email protected] 0 points 6 months ago

Okay, tell me, where would i see that?
