              Almost, but not enough nazis
No billionaire owners
Not enough of it is a walled garden
Very few corporate media accounts
No algorithm to decide for you what to read
Not enough proprietary software

Honestly #5 is the biggest one. I don’t want algorithms in my timeline but I do want some kind of algorithm “for you” feed when I feel like exploring.
