Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.
Post guidelines
Title format
Post title should mirror the news source title.
URL format
Post URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefix
Opinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title.

Avoid all social media posts. Try searching for a source that has a written article or transcription on the subject.

We actually used to have a problem with them reaching out on Reddit. The Youtube community as well had to keep reporting it.
They are a lot like pedophiles, they will introduce the topic and elicit opinions but what they were really doing was trying to drive likeminded people to their youtubes which were sort of gateways to the other stuff.
As for the specificity it's the same sort of structure as the SEA child abuse livecam rings insofar as the organizer outsources it to SEA countries where they have easier access to victims.
There's nothing funny about it, it's absolutely horrific forms of animal abuse and this guy should be looking at a lot more than 5 years.
