imo tiktok shouldn't be banned but tbf short form content is brain-melting, and I'm speaking from experience. my attention span is still recovering from when i used tiktok/yt shorts.
I try not to use it after I had a night where I just lay in bed watching shorts instead of sleeping, it's really easy to just lose all your time to it. I'm not sure if my attention span is damaged from this stuff or something else, but I struggle massively with focusing on my work in the last 6 months or so in a way I never did before.
