What is that supposed to mean? I assume fight, right?

It's a bit close to the f-slur for my tastes

But in Germany we got NZS BXN, (Nazis boxen, "punch nazis"), which I am partial to

I saw stickers with BXN a bunch of times (also living in Germany), but I feel like way less than in the past? But also I'm not exactly living in Antifa City, so that could be on me

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago

Yes, it's fight. I didn't think about the similarity to the slur, thanks for pointing that out.
I like the ambivalence of "fight nazis". I feel like it calls for a permanent, strategic resistance to fascism, and also encompasses getting one's hands dirty. It is also probably better for optics, if it weren't for what you pointed out.

I like the spirit behind it, and it is the most obvious interpretation. It's just that this format of sticker usually takes a word and leaves out the vowels, so it breaks the pattern a little bit.

My first guess was "forget", which does not sound too great. Forgetting nazis is a thing certian right-wing politicans want

I thought it was the slur. I never would've guessed it meant fight. Instead of trying to be cute about it, maybe they could just make a bigger sticker.
